Five (Times Three) For Friday: The Sounds of Spring

Spring sounds are sunny, poppy and groovy, like an AM radio station from a time I never knew.  Some are best enjoyed in an uptempo bounce, while others linger softly, sweetly as Sunday morning dew does.

Spring sounds go back to my roots, from the oldies station my dad played in his car, to the hazy funk jams of my teenage years.  Spring sounds are sprightly bebop grooves that crest on the wave of the summer ahead.  Spring sounds are hip-hop anthems that you crank up with the windows down once the temperature hits 60 degrees.  Spring sound are, as War put it, "All Day Music."
